The Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering emerged from the former Department of Petroleum Engineering now the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. The Department was established in the year 2020 under the School of Petroleum Studies and currently runs a four-year Bachelor of Science Degree Programme in Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
